new study of long-term weight patterns among more than 120,000 adults suggests that some foods and behaviors -- such as potato chips and TV watching -- have a disproportionate impact on our waistline


 Research done in Israel assigned 322 moderately obese people to one of three diets to investigate the effectiveness of the diets on weight loss. They looked at low-carbohydrate, Mediterranean or low-fat diets.
