Description
The Soil Mechanics and Dynamics Laboratory (SMDL) is equipped with advanced equipment for studying various aspects of geotechnical engineering. The equipment includes - a dynamic triaxial system, a 5Hz Direct Simple Shear (DSS) system and two 50kN loading frames. We test the soil response under varying loading, drainage, and boundary conditions, both monotonically and cyclically.
