Description
At the Bio-Empathy lab we conduct research which lies at the intersection between biology and psychology. Specifically, we are interested in unraveling the biological basis of empathy throughout development in typical and atypical populations. To do so, we conduct multidisciplinary research, using methods from the fields of molecular biology (genetics, endocrinology), developmental and social psychology, and neuroscience.
