The Department of Middle East Studies was established in 1994 to study Middle Eastern societies, stressing interdisciplinary and comparative approaches. The Department offers undergraduate and graduate (both MA and PhD) programs. The Department conducts research and also holds international seminars and conferences. Since its creation, the Department has prominently established itself in Israeli and global academia
