The Department of Nursing at the Leon and Mathilde Recanati School for Community Health Professions grants an academic 4-year Bachlor's (B.N) degree and a 2-year Master's (M.N) degree with a dual clinical and research orientation. We provide the healthcare system with nursing professionals who are trained and skilled in clinical evaluation, recognize the importance of continued professional development and health promotion in the community and hospital context, and most importantly, provide superior care.
The Department's ethos is based on person-centered and family-centered care that takes each patient's individual psychological, cultural and social characteristics into account. We believe in multi-disciplinary intervention and prevention throughout the life cycle and in empowering the individual to take control and responsibility of his/her health and care.
