המחקר במעבדה הוא מגוון ועוסק בפיתוח נוגדנים כנגד נקודות ביקורת חיסונית של
מערכת החיסון המולדת IMMUNE-CHECKPOINTS , ובפיתוח פרומוטורים
סינטטים לביטוי קולטנים כימרים על תאי T ותאי NK בסביבת הסרטן. בנוסף,
אנו שוקדים על אפיון שיטות תלת-מימדיות EX-VIVO לבדיקת רגישות לתרופות
מוכוונות ותרופות ביולוגיות כנגד סרטן המבוססות על השתלות של תאי גידול
מחולים בעכברי ,(PDX) NSG שיטות מבוססות סיכור חלבונים להארכת חיים
בסרום של תרופות מבוססי חלבונים שהן קיצרות חיים וכן על פיתוח נוגדנים כנגד
הטרודימרים של קולטנים על קרום תא – פנוטיפ המאפיין תאי גידול. כמו כן, אנו
מפתחים ננו-צ'יפים וריפורטרים מלאכותיים לאבחון רגישות ויעילות אימונותרפיה
כנגד גידול (רפואת סרטן מותאמת אישית).
Research interests
The laboratory for cancer immunotherapy and diagnostics (personalized cancer therapy)
The research in the group is quite diverse, incorporating several subjects, including the development of antibodies against immune checkpoints of the innate immune system; exploration of 3D-ex-vivo diagnostic methodologies to evaluate the response to targeted and biological cancer therapies, based on patient-derived xenografts (PDX) grown in NSG mice. We use glycosylation-based methodologies to enhance sera lifespan of short-lived therapeutic proteins; development of antibodies against receptors’ heterodimers whose membrane-expression is abundant in tumor cells; nanochips and artificial reporters to evaluate sensitivity and efficacy of cancer immunotherapy (Personalized Cancer Therapy).
