Research interests

My research interests are in the analysis and modeling of complex systems (such as the flow of information in business processes) with “soft computing” methods, such as fuzzy expert systems and data mining. My recent research is in the domain of "Narrative Intelligence" - teaching the computer to understand stories, in particular those in movies..
