Behavioral economics, experimental economics, decision making, economic psychology, competitive strategy, industrial organization, and certain aspects of academic publishing (the review process and measuring academic impact). Some specific areas to which Prof. Azar has contributed include tipping and social norms more generally, the relative thinking bias of consumers, and decision making in sports.
