Cancer Vaccines Based on Mucosal Application of Recombinant Bacterial Vaccine Vectors

Project Details

Description

Many cancers metastasize to mucosal sites, such as the lung or gastrointestinal tract, and primary or secondary tumors in those areas are the most common cause of cancerrelated mortality. This scientist will use a mouse model to administer an oral, bacteriabased vaccine with the hope of stimulating an immune response against tumor cells growing in mucosal organs.
