Control of Cell Proliferation by Inhibition of SCF Ubiquitylation Activity

Project Details

Description

Cell division is a highly-regulated process with multiple checkpoints. When this system goes awry, tumors form and cells divide in an uncontrolled manner. This scientist will use yeast as a model system to study a protein involved in cell cycle progression that, under certain conditions, may prevent cell division.
