Non-linear effects in MXene for Neural Networks

Project Details

Description

Artificial neural networks (ANNs) usually simply called neural networks (NNs) are computing systems inspired by the biological neural networks that constitute animal brains. NN are a subset of machine learning and are at the heart of deep learning algorithms. Neural networks can help computers make intelligent decisions with limited human assistance. This is because they can learn and model the relationships between input and output data that are nonlinear and complex. In framework of the project, we will take a step forward and develop building blocks of NN computing with unique capabilities of novel two-dimensional material MXene on optical chip. The outcomes of the project will pave the way toward unprecedented computing capabilities and facilitate performance of multiple tasks in parallel for banks, cyber-security, diagnosis and many more.
