Abstract

In the title compound, C₂₄H₁₇NO₄S, the phenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 88.12 (5)° with the carbazole unit. The mol-ecular structure is stabilized by weak intra-molecular C - H⋯O inter-actions and the crystal packing exhibits weak inter-molecular C - H⋯O and C - H⋯π inter-actions. Two C atoms of the 2,3-dihydro-1,4-dioxine fragment are disordered over two positions with site-occupancy factors of 0.718 (11) and 0.282 (11).
