Abstract
The performances of the NaI(Tl) Anger camera and a CdZnTe (CZT) camera were compared. Two sets of images were acquired. The first set included phantoms of hot and cold spheres and bones at close proximity to the collimator. The second set consisted of hot and cold spheres including 70 mm of Perspex for scattering and attenuation. The resulting data was analyzed in detail.
