Abstract
Neurochemical distinctions have been made between neuroleptic drugs that affect D-1 receptors as well as D-2 receptors, compared wih those neuroleptic drugs that affect only D-2 receptors. However, a controlled double-blind study of haloperidol vs. chlorprothixene in schizophrenic patients found no significant differences.
