N2 - The problem of speech enhancement using a distributed microphones array in a dynamic scenario where speaker, noise and microphone arrays are free to move is considered. The transfer function generalized sidelobe canceler (TF-GSC) spatial filter [1] which optimizes the minimum variance distortionless response (MVDR) criterion is used for enhancing the desired speech signal. A novel speech presence probability (SPP) estimator is proposed based on [2]. By using a dual-resolution SPP, the proposed estimator is able to detect noise dominant frequencies during speech, and thus improve noise tracking capability. We test the proposed algorithm in real dynamic scenarios, and demonstrate its consistent signal to noise ratio (SNR) improvement using a distributed microphone array consisting of 2 devices and 4 microphones.
