Abstract

An integrated control model of a hierarchical production system is presented. The problems of the three levels considered, machine level, section level and factory level, are discussed. Each level was facing a stochastic optimization problem. The basic principles of this system could be used for any hierarchical industrial facility, independently of the number of levels.
