Abstract

A new [2+4] cycloaddition reaction of oligomeric 1,3-dithiole-2,4,5-trithione and tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) derivatives leads to the formation of cycloadducts, which subsequent reactions give rise to hybride compounds consisting of 1,3-dithiole-2-thione unit and TTF unit connected together via one or two sulfur atoms. Further chemical transformations of these new compounds are discussed.
