Abstract
A method is presented for expressing P2O5 as a linear combination of other components in the product of the process of beneficiation of phosphate by calcination and washing Factor analysis is used to understand the correlations obtained by regression calculations Partial regression coefficients are used to determine the independent variables and to find quantitative molar correlations among impurities. Regression equations were obtained for P2O5 in the product obtained from high-sulphate, medium-sulphate and low-sulphate raw materials.
