Abstract

A software for simulation and inverse design of micro- and nano-optical devices embedding smooth and periodically patterned layers is described. With this tool, a ~100% efficient, silicon (Si) based, photodetector (PD) for a near[1]infrared (NIR) wavelength is designed, and on this example the topological photonics features are shown.
