Abstract
This paper presents an approach for solving the disturbance decoupling problem in a square linear time-invariant singular system. A simple criterion and an efficient algorithm for solving the underlying problem by applying a state feedback which preserves the uniqueness property of the closed-loop singular system, has been established. The present algorithm is based on a well-established approach borrowed from state-space system theory.
