Abstract

The metal-insulator transition (MIT) and its relation to antiferromagnetism (AFM) in the two-dimensional (2D) Hubbard model at half filling were studied. It was found that the double occupancy and the single-particle DOS show evidence of a gap for both small and large values of U at finite T.
