Abstract
Absolute viscosity values for highly enriched D2180 samples have been measured at 5° intervals between 15 and 35° using a semiautomatic closed viscometer of the suspended-level type. The absolute viscosity of 100% D2180 has been determined by extrapolation of the experimental data by means of Eyring’s absolute
rate theory of viscosity. In order to perform the above extrapolations certain assumptions had to be made concerning the nonnegligible amount of HDD present in the samples
