Abstract

When analyzing energy transfer between donors and acceptors in solid-state materials, anomalous energy transfer may occur. When it does, the effect may not be apparent in the donor decay; however, the effect in the acceptor excited-state concentration can be drastic. Examples are given from actual multi-site decays.
