Abstract

In this study, a 'lump-parameter' model was formulated to represent a large flexible space structure controlled by bonded piezoceramic actuators. A control strategy based on Fuzzy Logic Theory (FLC) was developed for vibration damping. A comparison of the performance of the proposed FLC with that obtained by applying LQR is presented.
