Abstract

Air sweep water pervaporation through a hydrophilic anion-exchange hollow fiber membrane and through a porous hydrophobic hollow fiber was investigated. The influence of temperature, air velocity, and concentration of solute on water vapor flux was studied, since these parameters are needed for the evaluation of a method for water desalination and concentration of solutions.
