Abstract

This paper examines the dynamics of aluminum consumption (all products), scrap recovery and primary aluminum capacity for the Western World through 1995, with particular emphasis on the U. S. aluminum industry. The relationship between the prices of ingot, sheet and extruded products is also explored.
