Abstract

An automatic Ubbelohde type viscometer with accuracy of 0.1 p.p.m. was developed. It was shown that using a differential photodiode, flow-times of the order of 1000 s could be measured with an accuracy of +or-100 mu s. A description of the viscometer and time measuring system is given.
