Abstract

The incorporation of a heterodyne detection unit in a recently developed interferometric bridge operating at x-band permits the use of this instrument to sense complicated vibratory phenomena of a relatively wide bandwidth. The interferometer detected output is a direct replica of the translations of the experimental vibrating objects.
