Abstract

A Monte-Carlo method is described for the analysis of the reliability/maintenance of complex systems. The methodology proposed adopts the formalism used in particle transport. The Monte-Carlo code SPAR is then presented, together with an application to a simple example to illustrate the potential of the method.
