Abstract

Objective: To analyze the chemical constituents of Hedan tablet by high performance liquid chromatography-time of flight-mass spectrometry (HPLC-TOF-MS). Methods: The separation was performed on a Agilent Zorbax SB-Aq column (250 mmx4.6 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile (A)-1% acetic acid water solution (B) was used as gradient elute, 0-50 min, 0%-30% B, 50-90 min, 30%-75% B. The flow rate was 1 ml/min. TOF-MS was applied for qualitative analysis in positive ion mode with m/z of reference fragment 121.05 and 922.01. Results: The 33 chemical constituents of Hedan tablet were identified, and 5 groups of isomers were discriminated by TOF-MS and structure-relevant fragment ions. Conclusion: The HPLC-TOF-MS method is simple and reliable for analysis of the chemical constituents of Hedan tablets.
