Abstract
An analytical and experimental investigation of transient and steady-state processes in the Cuk converter is reported. A set of fourth-order linear difference equations governing these processes is found and solved. The solution is obtained in closed form, making it possible to determine conditions of existence of possible converter modes. The theoretical results have been calculated using a special computer program and verified by comparison with experimental results obtained using the converter model. Satisfactory agreement between theory and experiment is observed.
