Abstract

A new analytical method for the analysis of steady-state processes in single - phase cycloconverters has been developed. The z-transform is used to derive the equation governing the cycloconverter's current. An analytical solution of the problem is obtained Physical experiments have been carried out to verify the results obtained. Good agreement between theoretical and experimental results is observed.
