Abstract

The identification of robust structural features of radial diffusion-limited aggregation (DLA) was presented. The distribution of the angular gaps between branches of off-lattice radial DLA was shown to approach a size-independent limit. The power-law expected from an asymptotic fractal dimensions occurred only for clusters significantly larger than M = 106 particles. An effective dimension around 1.67 was exhibited by the intermediate size gaps.
