Abstract
The electrical resistivity and thermal expansion coefficient of solid solutions of the tungsten-rhenium system are investigated. In the region around 5 at-% Re the behavior of the concentration dependence of the above properties has an anomalous character. The experimetal results are explained by the presence of significant correlations in the positions of the rhenium atoms in the tungsten matrix.
