Abstract

In this book the final report of 22 seasons of the Ophir Expedition investigations in Sinai is presented. The book includes the results of the excavations of six Early Bronze Age II sites located at the high mountain of southern Sinai and their relationship to Canaanite Arad and a Chalcolithic site at the foot of Serabit el-Khadim and the result of a survey of ca. 1700 km2 where 306 sites were recorded. This detailed and comprehensive finds report includes studies on the ceramic, flint tools, copper artefacts etc.
