Abstract
A case of asymptomatic intraamniotic infection with Candida albicans in a woman presenting with preterm premature rupture of membranes is reported. Active prenatal diagnostic procedures and prompt and accurate neonatal treatment (Amphotericin B) improved significantly the usually poor outcome of these pregnancies. 1993 Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand
