Abstract

The article describes an algorithm of an automatic drawing procedure for one-line substation diagrams. The algorithm is designed to recognize the substation scheme type, build the scheme tree graph and optimize tree branch location when the number of branch intersections are minimal. This procedure permits viewing the scheme in Medusa format and interactive editing without altering the scheme topology. Examples for applying algorithm development are shown.
