Abstract

This instructive module should allow the student to: understand the phenomenon of azeotropy and its physical characteristics; use the concept of physical equilibrium to analyze vapor-liquid equilibria problems where the liquid behaves ideally or nonideally, at low and high pressures; and use the vaporization equilibrium constant K for systems at high pressures.
