Abstract

Visuo-haptic illusions introduce a discrepancy between the user's body and its representation in virtual reality (VR) in order to maintain a high level of immersion in constrained environments: limited-size VR arena, few physical objects, etc. In this article, we present an open-source toolkit for integrating these illusions in VR scenes implemented in Unity. It aims to promote their use among VR professionnals and help researchers study them. We describe the toolkit architecture, the 14 implemented interaction techniques, the mechanisms for combining them and practical toolkit use.
