Abstract

"Brune sections" are rational functions analytic in the open unit disk D, J-inner and with a pole on the unit circle (see formula (1)). They play an important role in the theory of stationary systems. In this Note we present their analogues in the setting of nonstationary systems, where analytic functions bounded in the open unit disk are replaced by upper triangular bounded operators.
