Abstract

The CISS effect, where chiral materials cause magnetic like behavior has different manifestations, including in electron transport, photoelectric effect, magnetic switching, and others. But can these effects be understood from one underlying theory? We show our spinterface model explains many of the effects. However, there is still work to be done.
