Characterization of pure quantum states of multiple qubits using the Groverian entanglement measure

Abstract

The pure quantum states of multiple qubits were analyzed using the Groverian entanglement measure. The unit of the state was quantified as an initial state for the search algorithm. The entanglement produced by quantum algorithms was evaluated using the Groverian measure. The intermediate states generated during the evolution of Grover's algorithm for various initial states and for different sets of marked states were calculated. The results show that highly entangled states in the intermediate states of the quantum search process were generated by Grover's interations, even if the initial state and the target state were product states.
