Two cases of placental chorioangioma are described. The first pregnancy was complicated by placenta previa and a breech presentation, and a 1,100 g infant was born prematurely at 30 wk. The placenta weighed 1,500 g. In the second case, pregnancy was uneventful and a 3,500 g female infant was delivered at 40 wk; the placenta weighed 850 g. The fetal weight:placental weight ratios were much lower than normal in both cases.
