Abstract

Quasiclassicol trajectory calculations have been performed for model potential energy surfaces to investigate polarization in (j,mj) → (j',mj) integral cross sections For j = 0, it was found that the occurrence of polarization requires an attractive well, and that it be in the collinear configuration Results for j≠ 0 are also presented.
