Coherent exciton-phonon interaction explains luminescence behavior of colloidal quantum dots

Abstract

We present a theoretical model for a colloidal quantum dot interacting with both confined and bulk phonon modes. The model explains experimentally observed features in photoluminescence spectrum and decay dynamics at low temperatures.
