Abstract

The question of using different Function Elimination Filters to solve the detection problem in the presence of both a Gaussian noise and a sinusoidal interference has been discussed. This work considers the comparison problem. The performance efficiency coefficient was used to compare different binary data transmission systems supplied with FEF or AFEF, with the conventional coherent detector which is optimal in the absence of a sinusoidal interference. The numerical results based on the software implementation of the described systems with FEF (AFEF) confirm the advisability of using AFEF in the channel with a narrowband interference.
