Abstract

We report parameters for correlating azeotropic data of the total pressure and composition versus temperature of 108 binary systems. The correlating equations are ln P = A1 + B1T-1 + C1T and X = A2 + B2T From the P-T parameters, it is possible to compute the azeotropic latent heat of vaporization by λ = -R(B1 + C1T2). The mean goodness of fit of this data by the above correlations is in the order of 0.5% for the P-T data and 1.5% for the X-T data.
