Abstract

A new complex (CO)₆Co₂[C₂(CH ₂O)₂SO], containing a cyclic sulfite ligand, has been prepared by reacting (CO)₆Co₂[C₂(CH ₂OH)₂] with SOCl₂ and structurally characterized using X-ray crystallography.
