Abstract
A study is made of the formation of the radiation spectrum resulting from the inverse Compton effect on thermal electrons in a hot rarefied plasma with a superstrong (v/sub g/>> n) magnetic field under conditions of dominance of the vacuum polarization. It is shown that the spatial and frequency variables in the problem separate. Analytic expressions are obtained for the radiation spectrum (for each normal mode)
