Scattering of radiation by electrons in a superstrong magnetic field (Vg mv) is considered. The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the transfer operator are obtained. The results are applied to the solution of the problem of Comptonization of low-frequency radiation in a hot plasma. i. Introduction In our earlier [i] it was shown that the problem of Comptonization of low-frequency radiation in a superstrong magnetic field, Vg>> v, decouples into two problems--that of the form of the spectrum and the transfer problem proper.
